Welcome to the
Daytona Resort & Club!
Welcome to our
resort! Whether you are an owner, a timeshare exchanger, or a renter, we are
pleased to have you here. We know you are looking forward to a pleasant and relaxing
vacation and we want to do all that we can to make it so. Feel free to call
the front desk if you have any questions. Please take a few minutes to review
the following information about the Daytona Resort & Club.
Daytona Resort & Club operates on a Saturday-to-Saturday schedule.
Check-in time is on Saturday between 4 and 9 pm, with check-out time no later
than 10 am the following Saturday. Between 10 am and 4 pm our housekeeping
staff cleans and inspects each unit thoroughly. If you will be arriving after
9 pm, call the resort in advance for instructions. Also, if you plan to leave
prior to Saturday morning, please let us know so an early inspection of your
unit may be scheduled. If you leave before 9 am, please deposit your unit
keys in the box at the front desk.
Each unit is designed to comfortably accommodate a maximum number of people.
One bedroom units are limited to four people and two bedroom units, six
people. If you need to exceed this limit, please call the resort staff before
you arrive. An additional charge may be required.
No pets are allowed in the resort at any time, and a fine will be levied if
this rule is violated.
Each unit is completely cleaned on Saturday. There is no daily maid service.
If you will be staying with us two weeks or more, a complete cleaning will be
done on Friday of each week. There is an ample supply of clean linens in each
unit. If you run out during the week, you may clean them using the
coin-operated washer / dryer machines on the 3rd and 5th floors next to the
elevator. Do not hang towels or clothing on the unit balcony railing. Don't
remove makeup or clean shoes with our towels or washcloths. This makes them
unusable and requires that the guest be charged for their replacement. Also,
resort towels are not to be used at the pool or beach.
Since Florida humidity tends to freeze up air conditioning compressors,
please keep all doors and windows closed when the air conditioning is on. The
thermostat setting should be left at 75. Quick changing of the temperature
setting may blow a fuse, disabling the A/C system for hours. Do not play with
the thermostat -- it takes up to 24 hours for a service call!
pool / Jacuzzi
The swimming pool and jacuzzi are available for guest use each day between
9:00 am and 10:00 pm. Both are serviced and cleaned daily. For safety, glass
products are not allowed in the pool area. Please use the shower to remove
sand and suntan products before entering the pool or jacuzzi.
Basketball and shuffleboard equipment may be checked out from the equipment
room located across from the lounge. Tennis equipment must be signed out and
returned at the front desk from Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, and
on Saturdays between 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. The front desk is closed on Sunday.
Two gas grills and picnic tables are located between the pool and the
recreation area, for the use of resort owners and guests. Be sure to clean the
grill and turn off the gas when you are done. Do not cover the grill while it
is still hot. Also, do not use a portable grill on the unit balcony, since
this is a violation of local fire regulations.
The resort lounge on the first floor is open at all times for owners and
guests. It offers a variety of magazines, paperback books, games and puzzles.
The front lobby door is locked at all times and the rear lobby door is locked
after hours, Sundays, and holidays for security purposes. Do not prop open
the door, as this creates a security risk for everyone. Be sure to take your
keys with you when leaving the building, to avoid being locked out. If you
lose or fail to return a set of keys, you will be charged $25 per set.
All trash must be taken out by owners and guests. Two dumpsters are located
in the rear parking lot. Please put recycled items (newspapers, plastic,
glass, and aluminum cans) in the recycling dumpster.
The nearest grocery store is Winn-Dixie, located approximately 1½
miles south of the resort on Atlantic Avenue (A1A). A Publix market is a few
miles further south on A1A. A Seven-Eleven convenience store can be found on
the block just north of the resort.
Before checking out, please help us by preparing your unit for cleaning and
inspection. Here are a few suggestions that would be a big help to our

used linens from the beds, including the pull-out couch. Place all used
linens in the laundry basket and leave it just inside the front door.
- Be sure to remove
all personal possessions from dresser drawers, cupboards, and closets.

furniture to their original locations.
- Make sure all
dishes, pots, pans and silverware are either clean or placed in the
dishwasher. Turn on the dishwasher when you leave.
- Make sure the stove
is turned off and there are no lit cigarettes in the ashtrays.
- Carry all trash
and recycled items to the dumpsters in the rear parking lot.
